Optional auxin training offered
The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will hold the 2023 Southwest Texas Crop Kick-off program on Jan. 18 for Frio, Medina, Uvalde and Zavala counties.
The program will be from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Southwest Texas Junior College Auditorium, 2401 Garner Field Road, Uvalde.
The cost is $15. Advance registration is required by Jan. 13 by calling 830-591-9046 or by visiting https://tx.ag/Jan18SWCrop.
Three Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units are available for the program — one general and two integrated pest management. The auxin training will offer one additional unit in laws and regulations.
